February 7, 2004 -- Was Mayor Bloomberg an accessory before, during and after the fact to an offense that he himself helped make illegal - smoking in public?

Seems so.

As The Post reports today, Hizzoner sat by while dozens of fat cats dragged on even fatter cigars right before the mayoral eyes last month in a public ballroom where smoking is prohibited by law.

Another statist nanny state power hungry politician. Coming soon to a town near you. Just goes to show that a lot of the time, you can just disregard the R or D next to the name. They both mean the same thing. More laws, less freedom.

Bloomberg openly stated before the election that he is a liberal. He ran on the Republican ticket because of Rudy's popularity at the time. Post 9/11. He said he knew a democrat could never get elected. I think a person has to check whether there is an L for liberal or a C for conservative.

This doesn't surprise me.

Bloomberg's a moron who thinks himself a genius. He is also a snob of the most odious variety.

Will be interested to see what my RINO senator has to say about this when I show it to him.

Regards,

Mayor Bloomingidiot reminds me of Governor Florio. He illegalized sunny side up eggs cause they might make you sick!

Hopefully, we'll be rid of Bloomingidiot after one term too.

If you're surprised by this, we could power the entire City of New York off your naivete!

When hasn't prohibitionist law been "for me, but not for thee"? Has anyone examined, for example, the treatment of the younger generation of the Bush and Kennedy families vs. that of the average person in the same circumstances?
